Danielle was born the only child of middle class parents who lived in the South-West of The City. She started education at a local primary school before moving up to a local high school.

Danielle experienced sexual abusive from her father and, as a teenager, was taken into temporary care when this abuse was suspected and reported by her school. She moved from her family home to North Meadows Children’s Home where she met Mia Stower and Connor Chavez.

Danielle remained at North Meadows until the investigation into the suspected abuse was concluded and afterwards, Danielle moved back into her family home.
