Kelly is the eldest of two sisters from Essex, England, and was born with a disability that affected her ability to stand and walk. The local primary school she attended was not accessible and so she spent a lot of her time at school in the lobby way where her sister would bring her various books.

During their youth, Kelly and her sister raised money to move to The City so that Kelly could hopefully apply for and attend university. Once in The City, however, Kelly met Raymond Keathrow and Sidney Byrd and began cooking methamphetamine for Malcolm Moore.

After the fall of Malcolm Moore, Kelly evaded police attention and used the money she had earn to begin studying at university.
