Kevin began attending Southbridge School at age 11 in 1991. Although Kevin was bullied during his time at Southbridge, he did befriended Leon Page and Amelia Spencer with the three of them forming the band Hazard Warning. Kevin played bass guitar in the band and also often attempted to write songs. However, many of these songs were dismissed by Leon. In 1995, Kevin left Southbridge School after this parents became unable to afford the tuition fees.
