Ophelia was born the first and only biological child to business owners Mr. And Mrs. Keathrow. She was adored by her parents as they so desperately wanted a biological child. Ophelia was cared for by a nanny and attended Southbridge School as a teenager.

In 1986, Ophelia is kidnapped by a gang in an attempted to blackmail her brother. He, however, is not phased, and the gang kept Ophelia in captivity for many years. During her time in captivity, Ophelia experienced, physical, mental, and sexual abuse before escaping in 2003.
