Bethany (known as Beth) is a resident of The City. She is a car mechanic and is very passionate about cars.

Beth attended the local primary school from age 5-11. As a teenager, Beth dated a local gang leader. Their relationship was very dysfunctional and Beth experienced physical abuse during this time. It was through the gang that Beth met Damon Stower. Later, Beth and Damon began dating and had their first child, Toby Stower, in 1992. Then in 1995, the couple had their second child, Kaytlyn Stower.

Beth worked as a mechanic frequently but her career was unstable due to garage closures and being made redundant. Between her mechanic work, Beth also worked odd jobs and often took on night shifts to support her family financially. In 2008, Beth's partner, Damon, was arrested and convicted for robbery. After this, Beth broke up with Damon.
