Liam was born in North Central to Robert Stower and Nancy Stower and was the forth of five brothers. His home life was very dysfunctional and he was mostly ignored and neglected by his parents.
Liam attended the local primary school from age 5 to 11 and then began looking for employment. While his brothers and then his father all moved out around him, Liam stayed in the family home with his mother, working various jobs to support the two of them and caring for his mother when her health declined.
