Susan at the Charbonneau Estate, 1996
Susan was born the eldest child of her parents and was betrothed to Marcus Charbonneau I in early childhood. Susan was raised by a Noirian Nanny and attended Southbridge Prep School and Southbridge School before marrying Marcus and moving into the Charbonneau Estate.
Susan was isolated from her family by Marcus after their marriage and she suffered from depression and in 1983, Susan's parents, brother, and extended family were all killed in retaliation to the actions of her husband.
In 1981, Susan gave birth to her and Marcus' only child, Russell Charbonneau and Marcus would often prevent Susan from seeing her son for periods of time. Susan's depression worsened and she spent most of her time alone around the Charbonneau estate.
In 1983, Marcus sustained a spinal injury and Susan, at Marcus' demand, became his main source of physical support despite other arrangements being easily accessible to him.
After the assassination of her husband in 1997, Susan is ordered to leave the Charbonneau estate by her son and moves to the north of England. There she lives in a group home with a number of lesbian women.
